Scientists Create Invisible Key

If previously we could only see in movies, has now become a reality, given that scientists have successfully generated a key 'unseen'.

As quoted by AFP on Tuesday (04/10/2011), a team of scientists from Taiwan has developed key technology that is not visible.

The invisible key is intended by its creator's scientists so that users can open the door to using only hand gestures alone.

"In the future, do not have to worry about lost or missing key," said Yao-Pin Tsai, who led the study, who also teaches in the institute of science and technology in Taiwan and North America.

"The technology that has become, the scientists inserted a chip that can detect motion in three dimensions, the same as that used in console gaming, Nintendo Wii," he added.

Tsai concluded that future users can simply open their doors by moving their hands through the sensor.
